A woman came into Kindred Spirits the other week with her young baby. We ended up speaking about karma and on parting I said “I hope your child finds the way to burn up all of his karma in this life so that he will be free to not take another birth again in this material realm” With an exasperated, somewhat hollow expression of hope, as if she had been contemplating it for a long while, but had come up with no tangible solution, “Oh, if only there were a way..” It is for this woman and anyone else who wants to become un-snared from the effects of karma, from the cycle of birth and death, that I have asked Swami Tripurari to speak on this topic Thursday, March 31.
